Today I finally got the head to my gmc truck back together. With luck I'll start on getting the old white demon running again. It has been a good truck. Its no jeep, but gets me into places most wont go.
The heat here has reached triple digits. I have been hiding in a dark room resting after a procedure on my back. Many more procedures to come. Modern medical is amazing is it not. We are lucky to be alive in the day and age.
My son who is 15 is with his mom in Ohio. I miss him, and hope she keeps her word and lets him come back to finish school. We have a few fishing trips and some camping to do yet this summer.
Fathers day I was given a drone. I am the worlds worst drone pilot. But when I master this one it would be nice to get a better one. It saves the legs and back.
I started a wooden airplane model. Its a fokker 3 triplane. I love the fokking thing. I needed something to paint as I have taken up air brushing. Not sure what medium and what to paint yet. But my man cave is prepared for wherever my imagination takes me.
I also have 5 chihuahua dogs. They are very loyal. They are my eyes and ears. I dont know what I would do with out them. Each has its own personality. But not a mean one in the bunch. The bounce when they bark, its so funny.
With several projects in the works, I will be busy for many months. New tun for the bathroom. New floor for several rooms in the house. I am slow but eventually gut through it and get it done.
I made amends with a old friend. Real friends understand we all have our moments. I am glad he is ok. I am a weird bird and its hard to make friends.
Now let me tell you about my wife. She is a good cook, and hard worker. She keeps this mess I call a home together. Without her I would be living under a bridge or dead. I was lucky to have married her before someone else realized how much love and happiness she is. I am truly blessed.
This is what is on my mind tonight as I type this. Cant wait to see what tomorrow brings.
